An acupuncture facial treatment involves the insertion of acupuncture needles into fine lines and wrinkles on the face and neck in order to reduce the visible signs of aging. In Traditional Chinese medicine, the meridians or pathways of Qi (energy) flow throughout the entire body from the soles of the feet up to the face and head; consequently, a facial acupuncture treatment addresses the entire body constitutionally, and not merely “cosmetic.” An acupuncture facial treatment involves the patient in an organic, gradual process, that is customized for each individual. It is no way analogous to, or a substitute for, a surgical “face lift”.
BENEFITS - Facial acupuncture can increase facial tone, decrease puffiness around the eyes, as well as bring more firmness to sagging skin, enhance the radiance of the complexion, and flesh out sunken areas. Customarily, fine wrinkles will disappear, and deeper ones will be reduced. As this treatment is not merely confined to the face, but incorporates the entire body and constitutional issues of health.
Average treatment plan: 1x a week for 12-24 weeks. 1x a month for continued maintenance

Microneedling is a minimally invasive procedure that uses fine needles to create tiny punctures in the skin stimulating the skin’s natural repair process and increasing collagen and elastin production. It can improve skin texture, tone, and elasticity, while reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. It can also help with hair restoration. Microneedling can be effective for both superficial and deep scars, such as acne scars.
Microneedling works by using controlled micro injuries that stimulate collagen production triggering the skin’s wound healing response. This activates fibroblasts producing collagen and elastin, which are essential for repairing skin damage. Microneedling creates micro channels in the skin that allow better penetration of topical products, enhancing efficacy.
Expected results: noticeable improvement after 3-6 sessions. 4-6 weeks between sessions depending on skin type. Average microneedling course is 4-6 sessions with continued maintenance every 4-6 weeks.
Pre-treatment care: avoid retinols, exfoliates, AHAs/BHAs and direct sun exposure for 48 hours before treatment.
Post treatment care: use gentle cleansers (mild, no fragrance), avoid sun exposure, apply hydrating serums with hyaluronic acid. Avoid harsh chemicals. Avoid touching the face or applying makeup for 24-48 hours post treatment.
Long term care: sunscreen daily to prevent UV induced damage or hyper-pigmentation. Stay hydrated and maintain a healthy diet to support skin healing.
Each session includes take home after care products for continued care.
